Supporting our local community
This month we had the pleasure of attending the Brechin City Football Club community event at Glebe Park in Brechin.
Having a stall at the event gave us the opportunity to meet so many lovely people, introduce ourselves to those who hadn’t yet discovered The Dress Rental Co., and chat all things fashion and sustainability.
The support from the local community continues to amaze us, and we’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by to say hello.

Supporting an incredible cause
June also gave us the opportunity to support the amazing charity Miss Charity, who work to support those affected by miscarriage.
We were honoured to donate a selection of our dresses for their fashion show, and seeing them on the catwalk for such a meaningful cause was incredibly special.
We also had a pop-up stand at the event, met some fantastic local businesses and spent the day surrounded by inspiring people. It was an event we’ll remember for a long time, and we’re so proud to have played a small part.

“A big reason why myself and Charlotte wanted to take this on is that we want to see our local communities regenerate,” she says.
“Our high streets have obviously been destroyed by the likes of Amazon, but also I think the reason why mental health issues are through the roof is a lack of connectedness".

A huge personal milestone
June marked a very emotional and exciting milestone for Charlotte.
After almost three wonderful years as an Events Manager at Ballogie House and many years working within the events industry, Charlotte made the decision to leave her full-time role to focus on growing The Dress Rental Co.
Leaving a career that has been such a huge part of life wasn’t an easy decision, but it felt like the right one. It means we can now dedicate even more time, energy and passion into growing the business and giving our customers the very best experience possible.
It’s a huge step for us, and one we’re incredibly proud to celebrate.

Completing the perfect outfit
One of the biggest additions to The Dress Rental Co. this month has been our growing collection of hats, fascinators and bags from Morag's Accessories.
Being able to help customers create a complete outfit for weddings, race days, garden parties and special occasions has been so rewarding. The response has been absolutely incredible, and we love helping our customers find those finishing touches that make them feel amazing.

Our biggest photoshoot
We finished June on an absolute high with our biggest photoshoot to date.
A fantastic group of local ladies, ranging from size 8 to size 20, joined us for a day of fun, laughter and confidence-building as we photographed our latest collections at the beautiful Brechin Castle.
The day was everything we had hoped for and so much more. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more supportive, enthusiastic group of women, and we’re so grateful to every single person who gave up their time to be part of it.
The photographs and videos from the day will be appearing across our social media, website and future marketing over the coming months, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
